The decision logic is a relative comparison:
- If you already meet the target biome's speed, expanding the pen is pure gain (when you have a bench pet that can afford it) — otherwise, go steal the biome's top eggs directly.
- If you can't afford either upgrade, keep farming.
- If you have no strong bench pet, a pen slot earns nothing immediately — push the treadmill instead.
- Otherwise, the faster-timed option wins: if the pen pays back before you'd reach the next biome, expand; if the biome is closer, train speed.
